Our Adoption Process

Adoption Process:

Prospective adopters undergo a thorough screening process to ensure a suitable match between the animal and their new home. 

Adoption fees help support our rescue efforts.

** What is Included in the adoption fee?**

Every adopted dog and cat are up to date on age-appropriate core vaccines. If an animal is not altered at time of adoption, they will be required to be spayed or neutered by 6 months of age or other agreed upon age. The rescue covers the price of alteration if done at the rescue's preferred vet in Madison. If an adopted animal is altered at the adopter's vet, a $50 return will be made to the adopter upon proof of alteration. The adopter is responsible for the remaining cost.
